Starting in 2026, Chase Oaks Melissa Campus will meet in an elementary school in McKinney. On Sundays, you'll find live worship, a vibrant local community, and a powerful live-streamed message from a relatable speaker. While you worship, kids (birth–grade 6) will enjoy their own dedicated adventure in KIDS CO.

FAQ

When you visit a Chase Oaks Campus for the first time, you are our honored guest. You might have some questions about what to expect when you visit. So, here are a few frequently asked questions to help you plan your trip. We hope to see you soon!

Right now, we meet at Frazier Elementary school in McKinney. We're working on building plans and can't wait to launch a community hub for our neighbors, friends, and families to gather in Melissa!

We will start meeting at Frazier Elementary in McKinney in August 2026.

There will be lots of signs and people wearing either Chase Oaks t-shirts or lanyards with nametags to help you on your way.

If you have kids, follow the signs toward KIDS CO., our ministry for kids from birth-grade 6. A KIDS CO. leader will get you checked in and will be happy to answer any of your questions about KIDS CO.!

If you're thirsty, grab some coffee. Then, follow the signs toward the Auditorium for our weekend worship service.

Services last about an hour and ten minutes.

We start by singing a few worship songs together. Our worship music style is pop/rock—contemporary, upbeat, and usually quite loud. (Earplugs are available at auditorium entrances and at the Hub). Your service has a host (often the Campus Pastor), who may share about a few key opportunities and let you know how to connect at Chase Oaks. Then, one of our pastors will teach in a casual, conversational style for about 35-40 minutes.

We're all about investing in the faith of the next generation! Whether your child is very young (Birth–Kinder), in elementary, intermediate, middle school, or high school—we create environments where they'll have fun, make great friends, and learn a lot about the Bible and about God’s love for them.

Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. Most people dress very casually at Chase Oaks (jeans and a t-shirt).

Visiting a church for the first time can be an intimidating thing. We get it. But, Chase Oaks is a “come as you are” church. We are diverse in just about every sense of the word–racial and ethnic background, life stage and lifestyle, religious background and personal doubts, addictions and struggles, and sexual identity and orientation. All of our stories are different. Each of us is on a unique journey learning more about God and His love. Whoever you are and wherever you are coming from, you are welcome here.

Rey Diaz

Campus Pastor
As a military kid, Pastor Rey Diaz grew up all over the world. At age 14, he randomly opened his Bible to the Parable of the Sower; it hit him hard, and he chose to give his life to Christ the very next Sunday. After attending the University of Florida (Go Gators!), Rey spent a decade in pastoral and missionary work. He then led a global non-profit organization, mobilizing churches to serve vulnerable children. At Chase Oaks, he's been a group leader, Elder, and volunteer for years. He and his brilliant wife have two kids who keep life interesting. Rey's joy is contagious, and he's passionate about helping people discover that ordinary lives can have extraordinary impact. For fun, ask him about his nickname "Radius" and the wrestling dream that never quite happened.
