Next Gen Summer Camps 2020 at Chase Oaks Church

For parents, one of the hardest things to compete with is technology. Our children and teens are spending more and more time on screens, and we are always trying to figure out ways to decrease screen time and increase connection and fun (without a device).

Well, at Chase Oaks Church, we have a couple of summer camps that will help your children and teens trade their screens for connection, community, and fun! And they will be learning some really important stuff without even realizing it!

Check out these next gen summer camps 2020 that will make a difference in the lives of your children and teens.

Next Gen Summer Camps 2020 at Chase Oaks

Student Summer Camp 2020

More than ever, teens live in a distracted world. It is hard to get away from the noise of social media. Their world seems to always be turned on and “connected,” but oftentimes, they are lacking true connection in their daily lives.

Chase Oaks’ student summer camp 2020 is a great way for students to get recharged by finding rest in an identity that goes beyond their online profiles, experiencing authentic connection with God and others, enjoying the outdoors and having fun in daily planned activities, and building friendships that will enable them to form a healthy community once they return home.

This year’s student summer camp will take place at John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, on June 29-July 3. Students and leaders will enjoy God’s beautiful creation in Siloam Springs, known for its stunning springs that feed Sager Creek.

Our student summer camp is powered by GENERATE, an organization that believes in “partnering with youth ministries to create moments that matter for students.” They strongly believe in creating strategic and intentional experiences where students learn about God and are challenged to make a global impact.

The theme of this year’s camp is “Make It Matter.” Students who completed Grades 7-12 are invited to join us this year! The cost is $485, which includes a $100 non-refundable deposit upon registration. The cost includes lodging, meals (all-you-can-eat!), and activities.

Registration is now open, but it fills up fast. So, register today to save your teen’s spot!

Camp Riverbend 2020

From “The Blob” to the ropes course, campfires, praise, and worship, Camp Riverbend is a great time for children to create lifelong memories and get excited about Jesus. They will be having so much fun; they won’t even miss their phones!

This summer, Camp Riverbend will focus on being bold and courageous. Your children will explore how to live boldly for Christ and how to discover the plan God has for their lives. When we follow the right leader, we will find victory over our enemies!

We love Camp Riverbend because they have years of experience in combining fun with faith fundamentals in an active camp environment. They do an awesome job of building an exciting and inviting atmosphere while helping children grow in their faith journey to experience transformation.

Not only will your child grow in their faith, but they will experience personal growth as they become a part of a healthy community and develop long-lasting friendships. This camp experience will make a lasting impact on your children’s lives!

Held at the Riverbend Retreat Center, Camp Riverbend is for children currently in Grades 3-6. The camp will take place July 26-30. The cost is $375 per child with a non-refundable deposit of $125 upon registration. The cost includes transportation, lodging, meals, a camp t-shirt, and fun activities (from arts and crafts to outdoor games and challenges)!

Registration is now open and will close on Monday, March 30. So, register today to save your child’s spot.
