- Oftentimes things we purchase don’t last very long or are disappointing. Sometimes they exceed our expectations too. What is something you bought that was surprisingly useful or incredibly worth it?
- Read Proverbs 30:7-9. Having too little is life giving us lemons. But the author of this Proverb says having too much is as well. Have you seen how having too much wound up being a curse for someone? What are the dangers of it?
- In the Old Testament law, God made multiple provisions for people in need (if interested, see Leviticus 23:22; Deuteronomy 14:28-29; Deuteronomy 14:28-29). Has there been a time in your life where you felt like God made a provision for you in a time of need? How?
- Have you experienced how being generous not only blessed someone else, but you as well? How?
- It’s easy in a time of crisis and uncertainty to become more self-focused or to hang on tighter to what we have because we might need it. What challenges have you experienced in being generous this season?
- How have you seen unique opportunities to be generous over this past year?
-

- Jeff also said money is also a thermostat. We don’t have to wait for our heart for God to grow and then give. We give and our heart will follow. What is one way you can turn up the heat on your generosity?
