Discuss Together
- What is something in the last two years that has been a game changer for you—a new tool or app that made life easier, a new relationship, learning about a particular medicine, or something else?
-
Read Matthew 25:14-28. What stands out to you about this passage? Is anything troubling or confusing to you?
- How would you summarize the main point of the parable in a sentence or two? What’s the big idea Jesus wants us to get?
- What are the different things or responsibilities you have been given by God to steward?
- How does Jesus define or describe what good stewardship looks like? How does that help you think about what it looks like to be a good steward in your own life?
- Ryan talked about looking for ways to leverage our resources for God-sized opportunities. Take a moment to talk about knowing when to engage with a need and when it’s wise not to. How do you balance security and responsibility with being generous and taking steps of faith?
- If you were given $100 to make an impact for the kingdom, what would you do with it? How would you multiply that investment and steward it faithfully?
Next Steps
Think about a way you can use some of your resources to make an impact. It doesn’t need to be big—is there a way you can use $20 or 20 minutes to change someone’s day for good?
